As part of the Secretariat’s efforts to provide regular project updates to the public, here is a progress update of the VVIP Airport Lounge located at Banjul International Airport, Yundum. 
The ultra-modern VVIP lounge, is one of the strategic priorities of the OIC Gambia Secretariat in preparation for the forthcoming OIC Summit. It will include presidential rooms and lounges, press rooms, protocol offices, security offices, parking lots, and roads linking the lounge to the Aircraft Apron.
The current progress of works is as follows:
 Project progress is at 60% 
 Building Structure is complete 
 Plumbing is complete 
 Electrification is 90% done 
The project is currently undergoing:
 Mechanical works 
 Waterproofing of the building 
The public is assured that the Secretariat and stakeholders remain resolute and committed to delivering all the development on time without compromising quality.
