The Chief Executive Officer of the Secretariat, Mr. Yankuba Dibba and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Essa Bokarr Sey, on the 11th of June 2020 had an audience with Colonel Talha Houet, Military and Intelligence Attaché, at the Turkish embassy, The Gambia.
The discussions centred on training, exchange of intelligence on counter terrorism and other security related matters.
Turkey is a valuable partner of OICGambia and offers immense support to ongoing preparations, particularly in the areas of security, protocol, and media training. Turkey has previously organized trainings for the security sector and donated safety and protective equipment to the Gambia Police Force.
